Whether you choose to (1) sit face‑to‑face with a signer to verify identity, ensure comprehension, and witness a signature with clarity and certainty; (2) serve clients whose travel or scheduling limitations require flexible, mobile support; or (3) exercise the remarkable ability to assist individuals across the country - or anywhere in the world - through remote notarization, you will gain valuable insight and practical guidance by attending this conference.  

A Two‑Day Experience Elevating Knowledge, Skill, and Professional Reach 

The 2026 Maryland Notary Public Day Conference begins Friday evening (November 6) with a 3-hour virtual session from 6 pm to 9 pm, followed by an in-person general session, including workshops, on Saturday (November 7) from 9 am to 5:30 pm. 

The virtual session on Friday will consist of a roundtable discussion with notaries on topics ranging from loan closings to becoming a wedding officiant. You will have a chance to hear from our vendors such as NotaryAct, NotaryAssist, and PageSeparator. The evening will culminate with our guest speaker, Brooke Merritt, on the challenging topic of deed fraud:  The Perfect Storm: How Deed Fraud is Changing the Notary Public Office.

The in-person general sessions feature top industry guest speakers. The in-person Saturday workshops focus on a variety of topics supporting "Delivering Trusted Notarizations - In-Person, On the Move, and Online." We eagerly anticipate their inspiring messages to notaries public.

A Hands‑On RON Experience Designed to Strengthen Your Digital Notary Skills 

BlueNotary Pilot Program Registrants

We are excited to announce a Remote Online Notarization (RON) Hands‑On Demo session on Friday, November 6. Conference registrants may choose from one to three available time slots to participate in a two‑hour interactive demonstration led by Joey Smith, BlueNotary Vice President of Sales, and Nikita Shumaker, BlueNotary Business Account Manager. This hands-on demo costs an additional $25 plus a $4.75 service fee. But wait! Participation is offered on a first‑come, first‑served basis. 

Not Part of the BlueNotary Pilot Program?

No problem. There is a special session designed for you. A practical session geared toward notaries who haven't started doing RON work. 

The General Sessions and Workshops will offer:

• In-depth information on various methods for delivering notarial services to clients
• RON presentation workshops from select service providers
• Information on evaluating RON provider's services
• Opportunities to meet face-to-face and virtually with national and local notary public officials, leaders, and business affiliates
• Information to enhance or expand notarial knowledge
• And much more to come!
