When it was unsafe to meet face-to-face with a Notary, most states temporarily or permanently authorized notarial acts to be performed online. In so doing, the Notary Public office was fundamentally changed as more notarizations were performed using technology than ever before. All Notaries – both up-and-comers and seasoned veterans – can use a “field guide” to navigate this new world. They need The Notary Public Code of Professional Responsibility of 2020 to guide them in finding the “true north” when providing both traditional and technology-based notarial services

Loan closings may be performed using several styles: a low-impact closing (TIPIC describes the documents in the order received), moderate closings (TIPIC rearranges some documents and moderately describes the documents) and high-impact closings (TIPIC rearranges and describes most documents in detail).
